At least fifteen separate individuals sighted a silvery oblong shaped object with a dome-like top traveling slowly from south to north during the evening of 04-02-95. No weather balloons were reported released by either the Salem or Portland airports. After traveling at a slow rate, the object suddenly accelerated at a high rate of speed and disappeared. No sounds were associated with the object.
